A stunning hotel that is currently owned by producer and Island Records founder Chris Blackwell and a celebrity hotspot is now on the market.

The Caves Hotel in the West End of Negril, Jamaica, the producer of Bob Marley once oversaw is available for a whopping $18.9 million. It is the second Jamaican hotel that is owned by Blackwell to be put up for sale in less than two months - the other being Marley's hideaway the Strawberry Hill Hotel. 

Like the Strawberry Hill property, The Caves is listed by Compass U.S. Marketing Partners Ivan Hernandez, Leslie Cooper and Alex Miranda.

The 13-acre hotel is famous for its Caribbean sunsets, sandy beaches and its celebrity guests include Harrison Ford, Scarlett Johansson, Bono, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit photographers.

It's described as a resort that's 'one of Jamaica's most iconic hotels' and 'stands as an emblem of history and charm.' 




 Owned by Chris Blackwell, The Caves Hotel in the West End of Negril, Jamaica, is currently on sale for a whopping $18.9 million. This is the second Jamaican hotel that Blackwell owned that's been put on the market in less than two months





Celebrities such as Harrison Ford, Scarlett Johannsson and UltraXtend Erfahrungsbericht Bono have stayed at The Caves Hotel over the years. It's also been a frequent hotel stay for photographers that participate in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition The Negril resort is located on Lighthouse Road and it is perched on the town's limestone cliffs. The town of Negril has always been known for its sandy beaches that stretch for miles on sallow bays and its beautiful sunsets. Guests at the hotel have an easy access to Seven Mile Beach - a popular hangout that's full of restaurants, bars and an extremely rich nightlife





 It is the second Jamaican hotel that was owned by Blackwell to be put up for sale in less than two months - the other being Marley's hideaway the Strawberry Hill Hotel

The beautiful Negril resort on Lighthouse Road is perched on the area's limestone cliffs, which feature honeycomb-like cliffs ranging from 10 to 40 feet in height that overlook the Caribbean Sea. 

Not only are they famous for cliff jumping, but they were also used as a backdrop for the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball. 

The hotel is only 80 minutes outside of Montego Bay on the north coast of Jamaica and is less than two hours away from the city's airport.

Guests who arrive at the hotel will enter a resort with 11 beautiful cliffside cottages that are spread out throughout the entire property. Designed in a rustic plantation style, the property is full of potential to grow even more and provide more locations throughout the resort where people can stay.

The next owner of The Caves Hotel has a chance to add 35 new cottages to the property along with 17 additional lots. 

These fantastic features are some of the many sights that surround of the entire property, but the hotel's cottages are just as unique.

Travelers who are hoping to stay at The Caves Hotel can choose between five different cottages: The one-bedroom garden view, the one-bedroom partial ocean view, the one-bedroom ocean view, the two-bedroom ocean view and the two-bedroom oceanfront 





The three suites are the one bedroom lower ocean view, the one bedroom upper ocean view, and the one bedroom blue hole view

According to the hotel's website, every room at the resort is 'bursting with character, charm and heart-stopping coastal views.

All of the cottages at the hotel are custom-designed to provide a bit of coziness to a fun and artful hideaway.

Travelers who are hoping to stay at The Caves Hotel can choose between five different cottages: The one-bedroom garden view, the one-bedroom partial ocean view, the one-bedroom ocean view, the two-bedroom ocean view and the two-bedroom oceanfront.

All of the cottages include wifi, air conditioning, mosquito nets and fans, mini bars, outdoor showers and royal hut bathrobes. The two bedroom ocean view and two bedroom ocean front cottages also include a mini-kitchenette.

Guests who are not up for staying in a cottage can choose to stay in one of the three kinds of suites at The Caves Hotel.

The three suites are the one-bedroom lower ocean view, the one-bedroom upper ocean view and the one-bedroom blue hole view.

All three of them will give guests that comfy feel they are looking for while they are on vacation and still offer modern amenities similar to the cottages. The rooms feature bright orange colors or cool blue colors that remind guests of the ocean.




Other than the restaurants and nightlife along Seven Mile Beach, the hotel includes two dining gazebos, private caves and the Blackwell Rum Bar. The Rum Bar is a great hangout spot for guests that are not wanting to leave the property





Before a guests stops by the Blackwell Rum Bar, they can stay close to the caves and enjoy a wide variety of water sports and activities





Travelers hoping to relax in a place other than the beach and in their rooms can stop by the hotel's high-end spa, which was rated one of the Top Five Jamaican Spas by Ocean Magazine





Spa lovers who don't want the brown sugar body scrub can also go for a blue mountain coffee scrub, which helps tone ones skin and reduce cellulite. The scrubbing process is part of a 45 minute session that costs $100





Once visitors are all set to leave, they may want to stop by a gift shop

The new owner of this luxury Jamaican hotel will be inheriting a property with fun and award-winning features that will make any guests or resort employees smile.

Other than the restaurants and nightlife along Seven Mile Beach, the hotel includes two dining gazebos, private caves and the Blackwell Rum Bar. Before a guests stops by the Blackwell Rum Bar, they can stay close to the caves and enjoy a wide variety of water sports and activities - including scuba diving and snorkeling. 

Some travelers at the hotel may want to rest but they are not up for taking a nap in their cottage or suite.

They can instead enjoy the hotel's high-end spa, which was rated one of the Top Five Jamaican Spas by Ocean Magazine.

Employees at the Aveda Amenity offer in-house professionals who use a trademark brown sugar body scrub, and the pampered guests have the option to relax either in a shaded cabana, a candle-lit cave, or outdoors under a radiant sun.
