The Roomba 980 is still one of the best inexpensive Robot vacuum performing robots on our list, despite these minor limitations. It's also not as expensive as other top-of-the-line models. It's got plenty of features that we'd expect to see in a top-of-the-line model however, it doesn't come with all the fancy app-enabled functions or smart home integration are found in other top models.

The iRobot Roomba can be set up quickly and is ready for use right away. After taking off the battery pull tab and yellow bin insert from its undercarriage, all you need to connect it to its Home Base docking station or a wall socket, press its large "Clean" button, and let it get to work. It will automatically return to its dock when it runs out of battery or is full of trash. There are also indicators on top that indicate the bin is empty, or when it is in need of recharging or if it loses Wi-Fi.
